Alex Michelsen defeated Nishesh Basavareddy 7(7)-6(5), 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 — French Open 2026 R64.
Nishesh Basavareddy and Alex Michelsen: Alex Michelsen leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Michelsen made the chances he got count: despite converting just 4 of 15 break points (27%), the extra volume was enough against Basavareddy, who took 3 of 8 but couldn't keep pace at the French Open. Michelsen's edge in winners — 50 to 40 — carried the first-meeting, first-on-clay win.
