Nikola Bartunkova vs Diana Shnaider — R32 — Berlin Tennis Open

The world #61 cut through a French Open semifinalist's serve to take down #16 Diana Shnaider, and the return game was the lever: Nikola Bartunkova held Shnaider to 24% of first-serve return points won and broke five times across the deciding set's swings. The third set was the kill — Shnaider's first-serve points won collapsed to 41%, and Bartunkova converted all three break points she touched after trading early breaks. She faces Elise Mertens next at the Berlin Open.
