Paula Badosa defeated Coco Gauff 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 — Berlin Tennis Open 2026 R16.
Paula Badosa and Coco Gauff are level at 3–3 across 6 recorded meetings.
Paula Badosa, 134 spots below Coco Gauff in the rankings, lost the opener 6-1 and then took the next two by converting 4 of 5 break points to Gauff's 3 of 6. The flip came on second serve: Gauff won just 39% of those points across the match, and Badosa broke twice in both the second and third sets — at games 5 and 9 in the middle frame, then at 3 and 5 to close it. Gauff's 12 aces never offset the 7 double faults. Badosa, now 3-2 in their first grass meeting, draws Noskova.
