Panna Udvardy defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 7(7)-6(5) — Rosmalen Open 2026 R32.
Ekaterina Alexandrova and Panna Udvardy are level at 1–1 across 2 recorded meetings.
Ranked 45 spots below her opponent at No. 59, Panna Udvardy flipped the favourite's script on grass, taking out 14th-ranked Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 7-6(5) at the Libéma Open. The single break in the opener was enough to nose ahead, and Udvardy closed out the second-set tiebreak 7-5 rather than let the favourite drag it to a decider. It was the pair's first meeting and first on grass — Udvardy now leads the head-to-head 1-0.
