Marie Bouzkova defeated Elsa Jacquemot 6-2, 6-2 — US Open 2026 R128.
Elsa Jacquemot and Marie Bouzkova: Marie Bouzkova leads 2–1 across 3 recorded meetings.
The 25th seed is through her opening round at the US Open in 1h 25m, and Jacquemot's second serve is the reason: Bouzkova took 16 of 23 points against it, and the Frenchwoman, with six double faults, held three of seven service games. Breaks in game 4 of each set, both for 3-1, closed off any route back. It squares their meetings on record and reverses last year's loss at this stage.
