Marco Trungelliti vs Martin Damm — R128 — Wimbledon

Four sets, four tiebreaks, 228 minutes — and not a single break of serve held the difference. The cleaner ball-striking decided it: Martin Damm hit 79 winners to 39, and the only set anyone broke serve in, the third, still went to a breaker. Damm fired 28 aces against Marco Trungelliti's 13 and saved 10 of 11 break points, edging the tiebreaks 5-5, 5-5, 2 and 5 in a match where total points split 171-166. Trungelliti landed every first serve he attempted — 100% — and still couldn't separate the margins, dropping his first-ever meeting with Damm in their first clash on grass.
