Tatiana Prozorova About

Prozorova reaches WTA No. 123 after a semifinal week in Singapore

Tatiana Prozorova, 22 and competing under a neutral flag, sits at WTA No. 123 as of September 29, 2026, the best mark in The Drop Shot's stored ranking snapshots and a climb from No. 183 at the start of the season.

Everything on her 2026 match record comes from one week. At the Singapore Tennis Open, a hard-court WTA 250 played September 21-27, she won three matches after losing the opening set of each: 5-7, 7-6(2), 6-2 over Sofia Costoulas, then 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 against Alexandra Eala, then 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 against Xinyu Wang. Eala, then WTA No. 18, is the highest-ranked opponent in Prozorova's recorded results; Wang was No. 40.

Her week ended in the semifinals against Talia Gibson, a loss recorded without a score. Leylah Fernandez beat Gibson 7-5, 6-0 in the final.

Across those four matches she won 45.2 percent of return points and held 70.8 percent of her service games, a sample small enough to describe that week rather than a settled game.

Little else sits in our records. Her best recorded Grand Slam finish is a first-round exit at the 2023 US Open, and her only logged match of 2025 was a 1-6, 2-6 loss to Barbora Krejcikova at the Korea Open.
