Hanne Vandewinkel is the rare top-100 player who got there by exhausting every rung beneath it. The Belgian, born May 21, 2004, turned pro in 2021 and made her professional debut at an ITF/W25 in Koksijde on home soil that August. She grew up in Zutendaal, Limburg, and trained at the Wilson Luxilon Tenkie Academy in Hasselt. The signature scalp arrived this spring: at the April 2026 Billie Jean King Cup qualifier against the United States, she beat world No. 16 Iva Jovic in the opening singles rubber.
