Dalibor Svrcina About

Svrcina's best win on record came in a season that has him down to ATP No. 117

Dalibor Svrcina is a 23-year-old Czech right-hander from Ostrava, listed at 1.78 m and ranked ATP No. 117 as of 17 September 2026. The best ranking on his record, ATP No. 86, dates to 10 November 2025. He began 2026 at No. 93, and that is still his high for the season.

Across 13 matches with recorded stat lines this season he has held 65% of his service games while winning 42.6% of return points. Broken in roughly a third of his own service games, he has needed the return to carry him, and he is 5-8 in recorded matches for the year.

His notable wins have come against ranked opponents at the larger events. At 20 he beat Jaume Munar, then ATP No. 62, in the first round of the 2023 Australian Open. In July 2026 he beat Luciano Darderi, then ATP No. 21 and the highest-ranked opponent on his record, on the way to the quarterfinals at the Los Cabos Open, where Denis Shapovalov beat him 6-4, 6-2.

At the 2026 US Open he needed five sets to get past Valentin Royer, then ATP No. 74, 6-4, 6-3, 5-7, 5-7, 6-2, before Darderi took their rematch in four sets. That second round matched the best Grand Slam finish on his record, level with the second round he reached at the Australian Open in 2023.
