Madison Keys defeated Amanda Anisimova 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 — Wimbledon 2026 R32.
Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys: Madison Keys leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Seedings called this an upset; the betting market didn't. Priced at 59% despite the 21-spot ranking gap, Madison Keys beat No. 6 seed Amanda Anisimova 3-6 6-2 6-3 in their first meeting on record, holding 11 of 12 service games and converting 3 of 5 break points to reach the Wimbledon Round of 16. The pivot came after the opener: Keys won 93% of first-serve points in set two while breaking in games 2, 7 and 8, and Anisimova's error count kept climbing — 42 unforced against just 15 winners by the finish. Keys' return pressure never let the favorite hold the deciding set, breaking three more times in it.
