Frances Tiafoe and Alexander Bublik: Alexander Bublik leads 2–0 across 2 recorded meetings.
Blanked on all eight break points he earned, Alexander Bublik still overturned an opening-set deficit against Frances Tiafoe, 4-6 7(7)-6(5) 7(13)-6(11) 4-6 6-3, across 3 hours and 55 minutes at Wimbledon. The route ran entirely through his serve: 42 aces to Tiafoe's 10 and 85% of first-serve points won, enough to steer the second and third sets into tiebreaks and take both. Tiafoe forced a fifth with breaks in games 7 and 10 of the fourth. Then the return looks dried up. Tiafoe converted 2 of 9 break points on the day; Bublik answered with 69 winners to the American's 40, and the decider went the server's way.
